WEDDING FLOWERS TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. DEFINITIONS

1.1 In these Terms and Conditions the following definitions apply:

“Client“ means the lead name on the booking form

“Company” Celestielle Floral Design, Bell lane, Ackworth, WF7 7JA

“Wedding Date” Date shown on the order form

1.2 The headings contained in these Terms are for convenience only and do not affect their interpretation.

2. THE CONTRACT

2.1 These Terms and Conditions are deemed to be accepted by the Client by way of paying a minimum of 30% non-refundable booking fee to the Company.

2.2 Unless otherwise agreed in writing by an authorised official of the Company, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail over any other Terms and Conditions or purchased conditions put forward by the Client.

2.3 No variation or alteration of these Terms and Conditions shall be valid unless approved in writing by the authorised official of the Company.

3. PAYMENTS

3.1 The Client Agrees:

a) To proceed with the quotation and to secure the Wedding Date the Client pays a 30% booking fee to the Company and accepts this fee is non-refundable.

b) To pay the Company 50% of the final value on the order form on or before 6 months prior to the wedding date.

c) To pay the Company 100% of the remaining balance, full and final payment 4 weeks prior to the wedding date.

d) Any additional purchases must be paid prior to delivery and must be made within 4 weeks prior to the wedding. The Client agrees that the Company may have to use other suitable flowers in line with the theme, due to the main wedding flowers being sourced up to 6 months prior to the wedding date.

e) On receipt of the final balance the Company will fulfil the order in accordance with the order form.

4. CANCELLATIONS & POSTPONEMENTS

4.1 To qualify for the following guarantees, the Client must pay the company in accordance with clause 3. Any refunds will be made in accordance with clause 5.

4.2 Any consultations are complimentary to the Client, unless the Client wishes to cancel a confirmed booking after paying a booking fee to the Company, then the Company reserves the right to charge an additional fee along with the 30% booking fee to cover any time spent preparing proposals, designing, travelling to the venue, and attending consultations which will be calculated on a case by case basis.

4.3 Should the Client not pay in accordance with clause 3 the Company can cancel the order and any payments will be fortified.

4.4 If the Client wishes to postpone the agreed date, the Client and the Company will agree a new date subject to availability with a minimum of 6 months’ notice. No refund will be made. The Client will be required to make another booking fee of 30% of the total value to secure the new date. Any other payments will be automatically applied to the new date.

4.5 Any cancellations or postponements by the Client must be sent in writing to the Company.

4.6 Where the Client is due a refund, the amount calculated will be based on the total amount payable on the booking form, however the total amount refunded will be based on the total amount paid to the company less the booking fee of 30%and in line with clause 5.

4.7 If the Client wishes to cancel part of their order this must be done 6 months prior to the wedding date otherwise full payment will be due to the Company and there will be no refund. The Client can only reduce an order by 20% of the full value prior to 6 months of the wedding date, the order can not be reduced after this. If the Client wishes to remove an item after the 6-month cut off, the value will be used to upgrade another item on the order form.

4.8 In the unlikely event that the Company are unable to fulfil the Clients order, the Company will inform the Client in writing and refund any amounts paid, less the 30% booking fee.

4.9 If for any reason an act of god, or an epidemic should stop the Company fulfilling the order, or force the Client to cancel the order on the basis that the wedding venue has been forced to close on the Clients wedding date we will refund in accordance with clause 5 . In any event, the 30% booking fee will be fortified. Any payments already made to any wholesalers/growers will automatically be deducted from the refund amount or will be billed to the client accordingly.

4.10 REFUND PERIODS

Where the Client wishes to cancel an order or partial order, a partial refund of the total amount shall be paid to the Client in accordance with the scale set out below, subject to the conditions in clause 4.

5 Cancellation Periods

5.1 Cancellations made up to 6 months prior to the wedding date will require the Client to make payment in full to the Company for the total amount on the booking form.

5.2 Cancellations made between 6-9 months prior to the wedding date will require the Client to pay the Company 50% of the total amount on the booking form.

5.3 Cancellations between 9-12+months will forfeit the 30%of the total amount, booking fee.

6 SUBSTITUTIONS

6.1 The Company endeavours to ensure the requested flowers are provided. However, if there are any issues with pre-ordered flowers the Company reserves the right to make any substitutions. The chosen colour scheme will be maintained, and quality flowers of equivalent value will be used.

7. LIABILITY

7.1 The Company shall not be liable under any circumstances for any loss, expense, damage or injury from results of items provided to the client by the company, after setting up and delivery have been executed.

8. LAW

8.1 These Terms are governed by England & Wales Law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts across the UK.

Online Shop Terms & Conditions

Local Deliveries ( Delivered by us )

We aim to provide a seamless service. We deliver all local orders within a 10 mile radius of our shop WF7 7JA). Same day flowers are available on orders received by 13:00 and are often possible after this. We aim to deliver all local orders between the hours of 8:00-16:00 sometimes due to circumstances out of our control we may have to alter these times and will inform the customer accordingly. We do not guarantee a specific time slot for delivery, however we will try to accommodate any requests.

If the flowers have to be delivered by a certain time please contact to add an additional surcharge charge to your order. Wedding and funeral flowers will be delivered by the time requested.

Orders are delivered ONCE. If the recipient is not home the flowers/plant are returned to the shop and a delivery note is left informing them that flowers/plant have tried to be delivered and to collect from the shop.
If a neighbour is home we will try and leave the flowers/plant with them providing they are willing to take responsibility for the delivery.

If the recipient is physically unable to collect their flowers/plant a new delivery date will be arranged with the recipient at our earliest convenience, with an additional charge. Celestielle are not responsible for theft or damage of flowers, plants or sundries if left.


National Deliveries - We deliver to Mainland UK by post Tuesday - Saturday

Next day delivery is available if we receive your order by 12 noon Monday - Friday. Orders received after 12 noon on Friday will be processed the following Monday for delivery on Tuesday. We can not be held responsible for delivery times with third party couriers.

Due to the seasonal availability of flowers it may be necessary to vary individual stems from those shown. Our skilled florists may substitute flowers or foliage for one similar in style, quality and value, you can be sure that they'll be just as beautiful. Where our designs include a sundry item such as a vase or basket it may not always be possible to include the exact item as displayed.

We accept any debit or credit card payment. If you are shopping from outside the UK, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own local currency.

We accept most credit and debit card payments, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and PayPal. You may send and pay for flowers over the phone by calling us.

Delivery

Cancellation

Once your order has been placed, it cannot be cancelled. In special circumstances we may be able to organise a credit note or refund but this is at our discretion. Please contact us for any order amendments.

Refunds

Refunds may occasionally be given at the discretion of the management. Because of the perishable nature of our products you are advised to make any complaint within 1 working day of the delivery of your flowers. We always endeavour to reach an agreement with the recipient for either a replacement or a refund depending upon the nature of the complaint.

Returns

Local delivered flowers. Due to the perishable nature of our goods (flower orders) any complaints or refunds will be dealt with on an individual basis. Please call 01977 625691 or email info@celestiellefloraldesign.co.uk with any problems you may have experienced.

Where Products are being returned to us we advise you to return Products by a secure postal method to the address given to you by our customer services representative and obtain a receipt as proof of returning it to us. If you have difficulties returning the Products, for example, by reason of their size, please contact us to arrange a suitable solution.

Refunds may occasionally be given at the discretion of the management. Because of the perishable nature of our products you are advised to make any complaint within 1 working day of the delivery of your flowers. We always endeavour to reach an agreement with the recipient.
